Home and Garden Thursday
3rd Thursday – Thrifting
These weeks seem to be going by in a whirlwind – you just never know
what a day/week can bring! I hope you had a blessed one – I do
appreciate you stopping by and hope you join the party this week!
Last week, the winners were chosen for the Battenburg Tabletop Parasol
giveaway sponsored by Judith of Lavender Cottage – I appreciate her
being a part of my “How Does She Do It’ series along with all the other
Delightsome bloggers – if you have not had opportunity to ready their posts,
please click on their button on my sidebar.
I am getting more and more in the mood for autumn and was spontaneously
inspired by placing my faux apple swag near a light turquoise platter – I just
love the combination and there began the kitchen’s fall decor.
I am one drawn to cooler moderate temperatures. Give me a wind/rain swept
hill – the romantic moors of faraway lands…these were among my Autumn musings
I shared in my A Return to Loveliness post.
I really am impressed with the latest no-calorie sweetener offered to us. Splenda has
come up with an all-natural no-calorie sweetener called ‘NECTRESSE’. It is made
from Monk fruit extracts. It is granular an imparts just the right sweetness. You can
get a free sample to try for yourself –
Thrifting can be moments of happenstance and pure serendipity – you and what you
like have to be there at the right moment in time.
Thank you to all who joined in. Due to my new working schedule I think I am going to
offer my parties earlier in the day that I might visit better – I am realizing that earlier
in the day is much better for me!
Here are the Highlights from last week’s party:
Libby at Twirl and Taste shared an amazing chocolate cake recipe…the name says it all!
Deb at Lake Girl Paints shared this strikingly beautiful tray transformation – love it!
Jennifer at Decorated Chaos shared with us the very many ways you can add Hedge Apples
to your Autumn decor – they’re spectacular!
Mary at Home is Where the Boat Is shared her amazing Garden Shed last week – love it! Now
she shared her inspired window dressing – wish I had a lovely potting shed!
I am looking forward to seeing what you’ve been doing these past few days!
You are welcome to share anything!
