Home and Garden Thursday
2nd week – Home Decor
What a difference a week makes! I am thrilled by all the participants – your posts are so amazing! What a wonderful community we share in!
Last week I shared with you that my trusted computer of eight years has finally quit working – I have been a fan of Mac computers and could not imagine trying to learn and understand anything else.
I have to give praise to my husband, he saw a need and met it! He took me shopping Friday afternoon and gifted me with a new MacPro! I am so Delighted – and amazed at how much I have been missing.
I am floating on a CLOUD! The Cloud program is just too amazing! As you can imagine then, I have so much to learn – happily!
I shared with you a couple of things that I have done to
keep me busy over the week.
In a tongue-in-cheek moment I shared what
Bloggers do when their computer quits.
Music is an important part of our life and I shared with
you my thoughts in establishing the Autumn playlist for
A Delightsome Life
Autumn is like a second Spring to me…everything
about it completely charms me.
I was delighted to be able to share with you a new
product by Palmolive their Fresh Infusion Dishwashing
Soap – it is Delightful!
Blurring lines between indoors and outdoors as I bring
together the decor to our Green Room. I am decorating in
a Shabby Chic-Romantic-Garden Cottage look. I love the
look achieved by paper flowers lace and ivy covering
one of the windows
Here are the Highlights from last week’s party!
Put three things together – Fall – Cloches – home decor – stirred
together by our friend Marty at A Stroll Thru Life and you have
a very inspiring, beautiful post!
We are cozying up to the warmth and beauty of the colors of autumn. At The Cozy Little Kitchen Leslie put together a very warm, comforting dining room. The colors, the accessories – especially the lanterns – all come together beautifully. She also shared a very delicious looking baked apple pancake her husband made – yum!
Completely charming and unique. Stephanie at The Enchanted Rose shared her lovely idea to use green apples in her autumn decor – inspiring.
So many of us have used and loved Anne Sloan Chalk Paint – it is quite different and does take some additional steps to come to the perfect finish. Arzea shares in her blog, Domestic Superhero, her experience with Anne Sloan Chalk Paint as she refinishes an old country hutch – I tell you – the transformation is stunning!
Once again, thank you all for joining in – I hope you pop back from time to time to check out the marvelous participants – there’s so much wonderful inspiration
