Chalkboard paint is so versatile – who would have known!
It can be a very cottagy touch to a kitchen, dining room and
even a family room. It can be painted on doors, on wood then
framed, on pots and on silver trays –
I think the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
This year, in my Christmas decor – I am making use of chalkboard paint.
In the kitchen, I made this framed chalkboard, which I shared with you here.
I have changed its message to reflect the true meaning of Christmas.
I found this old light fixture at an estate sale recently – not my
friend Gladys’, but another nearby – I have something very
exciting to share in the near future of what Dearest bought for
me at this sale. I am over the moon!
I polished this silver punch bowl and cups, that my Mother-in-Law
gave me a few years back. I have learned that certain
color combinations this Christmas season are very popular.
One being the red, white and silver. I like that combination.
This large silver tray was also found at that estate sale –
I knew immediately that I wanted to make it into a chalkboard
for the dining room.
This smaller tray was found at Goodwill some time back and I will
be making it a part of a Christmas wreath for our back door.
This is the beginning of my Christmas decor –
How are you coming along – what color combinations are you
using this season?
