Good morning Dear Ones. I apologize for the delay in getting this party
going. I was called in yesterday to replace someone who couldn’t make
it to work. This put a crimp in my day’s plans, but I was pleased to be
able to help out.
Life is never a steady stream of expected and planned activities – no
matter how hard we might try. I used to get anxious at times when
I had so much to do and something would occur to turn everything
But, life experiences and a deeper, growing faith in God has brought
to me a sense of contentment. I prefer to be an encouragement to others and to see the wonder and joy that can be found this day. There are some good things going on here at A Delightsome Life –
We’re getting ready for our annual Christmas party this Saturday-
the house is still mildly chaotic…these pictures are a peek at some of the decor.
I have prepared some sweets –
I have completed some of the things on the party’s menu and a few
more things to make. We will be celebrating Dearest’s 50th birthday
too. I have already given him his present…I’ll share more about that
in another post and more of the decorating. Dearest and I actually
share a birthday – one of those funny things in life – our birthday
is on the 24th.
This morning, I feel a sense of contentment midst the mildy chaotic
state of our home…I left the broom and the decorations on the
table by the tree…this is life – beauty amidst chaos. This built-in
shelf has not been decorated – a pink pumpkin is still seen on
the top shelf.
I hope you find lots of joy and contentment in your day today –
I do greatly appreciate you and wonder at the marvelous way we can
connect and share through blogging.
