Home and Garden Thursday
What a wonderful week you all had – so very many beautiful and inspiring posts – I am most honored that you shared at Home and Garden Thursday…the last few days of October are upon us and we’re gearing up for the upcoming holidays – I look forward to them and hope to savor every moment.
Here are the posts I shared with you last week:
A comment made by Martha Stewart in her interview stirred some very strong feeling among Bloggers. I completely understand, but thought to check to see if there were more to the story. There is. That does not diminish though, the effect of her words. I know how I felt when I first read them and though understand what Martha may have meant, still I don’t fault anyone who does not feel the same. I suppose it is ingrained in me to extend grace knowing I have needed it and have been given it from time to time.
I treated myself to these lovely pink roses and set them with these beautiful white pumpkins on my desk – romantic inspiration.
I reviewed the cookbook, ‘Crazy About Chocolate’. Who doesn’t love chocolate! One of my favorite quotes is from Practical Magic, ‘In this house, we eat chocolate cake for breakfast!’ Author Kristina Castella compiled an amazing array of delectable recipes – I tried the Chocolate Croissants – divine!
Dearest performed the ceremony for the wedding of one of his co-workers. It was a lovely, country wedding. The reception was so inviting and delightful – just like a Country Living setting.
