I love the romance of Valentines….
the hearts, the decor, the cards…the time spent with the one you love.
And the dessert…if there’s chocolate in the dessert all the better.
Chocolate is one of those special ingredients that transforms a recipe, or is wonderful on its own.
From these marvelous chocolates, I made a wonderful chocolate sauce.
Reine de Saba “aka ‘the Queen of Sheba’ cake” is a rich dense, romantic dessert.
Cake Balls are so wonderful to make and the variety is only limited by your imagination!
Salted Caramel Pineapple Upsidedown cake is a marvelous alternative, if you don’t want to make something with chocolate. The sweet-salty combination is wonderful.
If you want something short and sweet, how about Pecan Shortbread topped with Strawberries. The combination of flavors is out of this world!
I hope you have a wonderful, very romantic Valentines!
