I am joining the good folks at Jardin Home Brands maker of the Ball brand this summer in celebrating alternative uses for Ball jars as well as their fourth annual International Can-It-Forward Day.
On Saturday, August 16 you can watch a wonderful live webcast featuring Bravo’s Top Chef Judge, Hugh Atcheson as he shares preserving and mixology with Ball canning jars! (You’ll need to go ahead and visit to register – it begins at 10 AM EST)
The schedule for International Can-it-Forward-Day includes: Pepper Jelly demonstration by Chef Sara featuring the FreshTECH Automatic Jam & Jelly Maker, Tips on urban gardening & herb preservation, Peach Siracha Jam demonstration by Marisa McClellan of Food in Jars, and Crafting in Ball jars with staff from Martha Stewart Living.
