The days are getting so busy! So much to do! I definitely have to keep to my Most Important Things To Do list! Otherwise, I’ll get sidetracked. I missed my tea time with you last week and I definitely wanted to make time to have the opportunity to share that I am thankful for you.
We have had opportunity to spend more time with our extended family of late. My sister’s brother-in-law passed away suddenly and the notion that time is so very precious and that time spent with those we love should be cherished touched a chord within me. I have been so aware of how quickly our lives can change – with cancer concerns earlier this year, changes in other areas and losses. I feel deeply that each day and each person are such precious gifts in our lives.
When I first began blogging, I began to spend time with you, Kindred Spirits in tea time. It has been such a wonderful blessing over the years. This year scheduling has made it more difficult that I’d thought I couldn’t keep up. But, I just can’t let it go! I want to strive to continue the beginning of each week enjoying the blessings of life, tea time and you. I’m thinking of 2015 in how I’ll make a priority of things. Have you begun to think of what you’ll do in the next year?
In this season of Thanksgiving we are so very busy, we have so much to enjoy. I know for me, that the first thing I am thankful for is my relationship with the LORD. Throughout all of my life’s ups and downs my faith and trust has grown and more, my awe in that there’s a God who loves and cares for us so much. I hope you know this for yourself. If not, I’d love to be in touch with you more about that.
I am thankful for life and for the blessings of being an American. The beginning and founding of our country is like no other. I do believe that our country is exceptional. I believe that our founding fathers were inspired and earnest in setting this country to be one where all can know for themselves the liberty in pursuing their happiness. This is a tumultuous time for our country. There are a lot of things occurring now that could completely transform how our country is governed. I hope and pray that there are statesmen and women in our government who will strive to keep our country free and to oppose the burdensome, oppressive government that could result from potential changes.
While you are going about in all that you have to do this Thanksgiving and this upcoming Christmas season, know that I am so grateful for the time we spend together. I am looking forward to the weeks ahead, the inspiration, the beauty and the Kinship we share. You are a complete Delight!
I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way–in all your speaking and in all your knowledge– I Corinthians 1:4-5
