“For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.” II Corinthians 1:12
Dearest shared II Corinthians 1:12 last Sunday and it truly spoke to my heart. It is my joy to live my life with simplicity and godly sincerity, not by my wisdom, but relying on the grace of God.
There is tremendous amount of opportunity to find joy in this world.
Each new day with the rising of the sun brings us a chance to express gratitude for another day, for those we love, for the things we are blessed with and for a relationship with a God who loves us.
Life can quite challenging at times.
We never know what may occur in our day. But there are certain things we can be certain of. We have a choice as to how we will act or react in these circumstances. We have a choice in how much we allow someone’s displeasure to affect ourselves.
We can choose joy.
In the midst of it all, because of our confidence in God, we can choose to trust, to walk in faith and to walk in joy.
