Distracted by Beauty
I finally have time this week to work in the garden…there’s so much work to do as I make note in my Garden Journal April.
But, I am so distracted by the beauty around me.
The garden is coming alive with such joyous enthusiasm.
I must tend to these weeds – they’ve LOVED all of the rain we’ve had.
Today I’m thankful for the gift of a garden. The beauty and imagination of God for creating such ecstasy for us to enjoy.
The clouds are dancing overhead and a gentle cool breeze brushes across my sun warmed skin.
As I listen to beautiful music, watch birds flit amidst the branches – to their egg-filled nests and squirrels search for those nuts they’ve buried…I can’t help but smile.
Distracted by beauty.
