Welcome to the 278th
Hello all! I hope you had an amazing week! I do so greatly appreciate you all sharing and visiting at Home and Garden Thursday. I started this party years in 2012 – wow time flies. This party kept my blog floating when for a couple years I had other things that took my attention – Dearest’s illness and a community responsibility. Now, he’s much better, thank God, I’m no longer working with that Board and I can spend more time working at home and sharing. Such bliss! Part of what I’m doing too is to make your experience better. I’ve changed themes, changed hosts (some of these are a bit scary – you don’t want to lose or to break your site!) There have been some challenges and glitches. The best way I can explain it is that over time your sites can gather data that is equivalent to junk drawers. So, I’m cleaning house, so to speak. I have some awesome girls working on the back end of this helping me make this a better experience for you. You’re so awesome! So, with that said, if you have trouble getting to the party – don’t lose hope – I’m still here!
Here’s what I shared with you since our last party:
My theme is Refined and Lauren at Restored316 has created another exquisite theme designed for Bloggers – it’s wonderful. Here’s my review.
I know plants make a room beautiful and that there are some that are easy to grow. Here are some more things I learned about the benefits of houseplants – do you love/hate houseplants? Which do you like?
Really girls, I didn’t know what current news would be about nor planned this post to give my perspective on what’s in the news about bigotry and hatred. I think there’s too much said on the news, truthfully, 24-hours a day. For Serene Sunday I shared a very personal post about They Will Know We are Christians by Our Love.
I have been wanting to try to make faux cotton bolls for projects I have in mind. When I saw this gorgeous wreath for sale (affiliate in the post) I thought I should try to figure this out. It took a couple days working on it only because I worked it out as I went and well, took pictures! I am thrilled with the results. I share the step-by-step and made a free Ebook to share with you if you want to make your own DIY Cotton Boll Wreath.
