Home and Garden Thursday
August. The eighth month of the year! For some it is either back to school time or the last chance for a vacation. There was so much inspiration in last week’s party – summer has been a very productive, creative time for all. I do so love how we share and support one another – I do appreciate you all joining in this party – and hope you have opportunity to visit your fellow participants!
Last week for me included:
The heat is definitely on in Georgia. Most Southerners have a pitcher of sweet tea in the fridge, I was testing some recipes using Green Tea and fresh/frozen fruit. These are definitely refreshing summer drinks.
From my holiday at the beach last month, I brought back some shells I found and some starfish I purchased. I found these two stacked cannisters at William Sonoma – I love them-I see a number of uses for them. But, for now since they remind me of lighthouses, I lightly filled each cannister with bits and shells that I picked up from our vacation. Preserving Beach Holiday Memories.
I have been dreaming about transformations I want to make to our kitchen – I am drawn to the lighter, Farmhouse style. In this post I shared with you what the kitchen looks like now and what I hope to change and keep.
Here are the Features from last week’s party:
