Home and Garden Thursday
This has been quite a busy week at our home! Dearest and I spent all day Saturday cleaning the garden and tweaking rooms in our house. I’m doing more projects in our dining room – it’s developing into one of my favorite rooms. I’ve been thinking how my style and taste has evolved over the last 10 years – I’m leaning more toward serene colors and definitely the French style – with patina – it is fun creating a room of your dreams! Isn’t it fun creating for our home, our families and for ourselves? And, I shared earlier last week that I’d have a surgical procedure this week – Monday – I spent the day Tuesday resting and am recovering nicely. I shall know the results within 2 weeks – I do appreciate all who expressed their wish to share with me in prayer that all will be well!
sorry! somethings strange was happening when this was to publish – I had to recreate and number – yes – there have been 131 Home and Garden Thursdays! Thanks to you!
Here’s what I shared with you since the last Home and Garden Thursday:
I’ve finished the curtains for the windowseat and for the French doors. Decorating the windowseat was fun – I started with four pillows, but couldn’t stop there! I alternated soft colored fabrics, including the fabric I received from OnlineFabrics.com at the Haven Conference.
My sweet daughters conspired to surprise me and to take me out to tea at The Potted Geranium. This is an amazing tea parlor – rated number 1 in Georgia by teamap.com
I made my first Craigslist purchase! This china cabinet – I’ve been wanting a larger one – and I’ve wanted to transform it with paint! The dining room is coming along nicely!
