New Teacup and Apple CobblerThis teacup was one of the first things I picked up – I love the shape and the design. Today is another unusually warm day in Georgia – I believe we are going to get some rain soon, so I hope once again to get in the garden and putter around a bit. I shared with you what is blooming and a late blooming rose here. For Sunday supper, I made an Apple Cobbler – Dearest asked for something sweet and this fills the request nicely. The combination and contrast of the sweet and tart is just perfect.
Granny Smith Apples
brown sugar (to taste – approximately 1/4 cup)
chai spice (to taste- approximately 1 to 2 tsp)
1 cup self-rise flour
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter softened
*Peel and slice enough apples to fill your baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar and spices over apples. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar and butter until a crumble mixture. Top the sliced apples with the crumbe mixture and bake at 350 degrees until the top is browned.
Also, something else that is very sweet.
I wanted to share with you a very Delightsome movie I checked out from our library system a while back. Delicacy is a French movie that is sweet and romantic. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and Dearest even liked it.
This romantic comedy will completely charm you – I just can’t give anything away! You’ll have to see it for yourself. I appreciate you visiting – I hope you’re having a wonderful day.
