Did you know that February 5 was ‘World Nutella Day’. Hundreds of recipes were submitted and can be found here. Nutella has become very, very popular.
It is such a marvelous, delicious treat that can be used in so many ways.
One of my favorite treats for myself is a
Chocolate Croissant. There’s something divine about this French pastry.
With a few simple ingredients, you can create a dreamy version using Nutella.
Chocolate Croissant – with Nutella
1 package Puff Pastry (you’ll use two sheets)
1 cup Nutella
egg whites
garnish: strawberries, mint and or confectioners sugar
- lay your thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface
- roll the pastry sheets
- cut your pastry into four equal parts and divide eacy part into two triangles
- place one tablespoon of the Nutella at the widest part of your triangle
- brush lightly the beaten egg whites along the puff pastry edges
- roll the puff pastry over the Nutella beginning at the widest side ending with the point on top
- bake in a preheated 425° oven until golden brown, approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
- Garnish as desired
I hope you have a Delightsome weekend.

Wish I lived nearby for the leftovers. Since it is just me, do not cook much anymore. Trust all is well with you.
I tasted Nutella for the first time about a year ago and haven’t turned back since! My weakness is, Nutella on saltine crackers….sounds crazy huh, but it really is quite addictive! xo
No, that doesn’t sound crazy at all! Nutella has a rich, sweet taste and the salty crackers are the perfect compliment.
Thanks for the recipe, I’ve got to try this! Happy Pink Saturday!

Oh I love Nutella, haven’t bought any in a long while – think you just talked me into it!
First time I ever had it was when my old assistant went to visit her brother who lives in Germany and she brought back the real deal…she and I were both pleased as could be when we discovered it sells now at international import markets.
Can you believe I’ve never had Nutella? I KNOW!!! Crazy!
Looks yummy!
I’m hosting my Homemaking Linkup Weekend and would love to have you join, if you’d like!

We love croissants but I only buy them, I don’t know how to make them .

Hi, my sweet friend,
Oh…You have featured my newest vice! When I was staying at my son and dil’s they had Nutella in their pantry. I really splurged one night and had a big ole tablespoon of it with my vanilla ice cream. It was sinfully delicious!
Thank you so much for your kind comments celebrating with me the birth of my precious little Chandler Kimo Timothy. He is such a blessing….the perfect Valentine!
Happy Valentine’s Day, Kathy!
