Home and Garden Thursday
Are you counting down the days and hours until spring like me? I see quite a few posts on creative projects, gardening and more inspired by spring – in our corner of the world – spring can be a fleeting season – but I look forward to each warm, fragrant hour. Here are a few things I shared with you last week.
Last week I shared with you one of my Valentines gifts to Dearest. This quote from the latest version of Pride and Prejudice is one we quote often to one another.
OneKingsLane is a marvelous place to find exceptional home and garden decor and accessories at an amazingly reasonable price. I was delighted to share with you my recept purchase, this Mint Julep Cup, which I will use often throughout the garden’s blooming seasons.
From Lemons to Lavender, there are a number of natural household products that you probably already have that can beautifully help you keep your home clean and fragrant.
Camellias are in full bloom in my garden, as I enjoy their splendor I reflected upon the connection between this gorgeous ornamental plant with the variety that produces the tea we love to enjoy.
Here are the Features from last week’s Home and Garden Thursday party:
We all have them – the very useful, but not so pretty baskets throughout our home. Kathy at Life on Lakesore Drive took one such basket and made it something not only useful but quite lovely.
Every once in a while we happen upon one of those amazing opportunities to acquire something lovely at a bargain price. Magali shared with us this gorgeous collection of Johnson Bros Rose Chintz tea set…such a large collection for an awesome price! Love it!
Paul and Cathy at One Creative Couple never fail to create something unique and beautiful. How creative to combine his floral artistry with the much desired faux Mercury Glass – Gorgeous!
To me, Copper is classic. I know right now other ‘metals’ are in vogue – but, I hope they all remain classics in home decor. Last week I had the opportunity to shop at Marshalls. My heart skipped a beat when I saw a few copper pots – on sale – but still above my price range – Copper is so wonderful. Joy at A Vintage Green created quite a delightful vignette featuring copper.
