Home and Garden Thursday

Home and Garden Thursday

I hope you had a Delightsome Easter. We surely did. My favorite Preacher, my Dearest, shared a wonderful sermon on the Resurrection – what marvelous hope and joy in knowing Jesus Lives! Afterwards we had all of the children over, my In-laws and my Dearests’s Brother & Son. There was so much food and so much laughter – I adore when our family comes together.

Everything OZI shared with you earlier this week a marvelously clever craft book+ with over 50 crafts, recipes and ideas all centered around the wonderful story The Wonderful Wizard of OZ.

spring garden and Victoria MagazineI spent the first day of April, a bright, warm, sunny day with my daughter. She had told me a few days earlier that she was interested in starting a small kitchen garden. I was elated. She was the one child that had no interest in gardening – I enjoyed spending the day with her, selecting plants and sharing with her – a fantastic cool, I can’t wait to see her make something wonderful with her new vegetables!

Taco Soup adelightsomelife.comCome home to Yum! That is what you can do if you make this amazing Taco Soup – a marvelous crock pot dish.

Here are the Features from last week’s Party:

Moonbeams and FirefliesAnn at Moonbeams and Fireflies shared her RE feature. RE stands for : reduce, reuse, recycle, reclaim, repurpose and respect.  In this post, Ann shared a number of ideas she found on repurposing old garden watering hoses – marvelous ideas!

Lake Girl PaintsDeb at Lake Girl Paints took a sweet little table and made it amazing – with a beachy inspired look – love the top!

Decorated ChaosJennifer at Decorated Chaos created this amazing framed artwork with moss, birch-bark paper and a graphic –

sullivan and murphySue, at Sullivan and Murphy, had an inspired idea to paint the top of this sweet table to mimic vintage grain sack. I think she did a marvelous job!

design till it shinesDiane at Design Till It Shines created this sweet Easter vignette including a lovely graphic in her apothecary jar – from our favorite Graphics Fairy.

the plumed penI have been enjoying Wanda Lee’s work at The Plumed Pen for years. She has the artistic flair in her decorating, teascapes, and graphics – her beautiful Blue and White Easter with Lindt Chocolates will enchant you

our southern homeAt Our Southern Home you’ll find the recipe to this amazing and easy dish to prepare for your family – this busy mom of teens prepared this lovely dish for her very active family – I can just imagine how marvelous it was!

Thanks again for sharing with us, I do hope you had a blessed week and Easter weekend! I have been setting the thumbnail pictures for the links at 125 pix. I thought I’d see how the 150 pix looked. Please, let me know what you think.

  29. Dear Kathy,

Also I had meant to mention: if your wish I have left suggestions on my most recent blog posts as to how to enlarge and/or reduce image sizes for better, optimal blog viewing when Blogger does odd sizing with my blog ( or occasionally with other blogs). Hope that helps.

    Cheers, Wanda Lee
