Home and Garden Thursday
Hello everyone! Hoy! It’s hot here in Georgia – I noted this morning the weatherman said that 1-5 will be facing severe weather today – I hope you all will be well. It has been an interesting year where weather is concerned – as with all things, we work around and we work through these events in our lives.
My garden is doing its best ever this year. I do battle a lot of invasive vines and weeds that flourished here before we came. The had a stronghold and we’re determined to conquer them! I also shared how I make difficult decisions when deciding that a plant will just not thrive or is not healthy.
For my tea time this week I set a table inspired by the blue in these Hydrangeas. I made a Honey Yogurt cake for Dearest which I paired with fresh fruit. Love the sweet Willow Tree figurine gifted to me by my Dear Son; she took center stage on this teascape.
My vision became reality when I transformed this dresser from its dark stain to this French inspired design. My heart jumped when Dearest said yesterday, ‘it looks better painted’. That’s a big deal! The man loves stained wood!
I reviewed a marvelous 2-in-1 book called, ‘The Four Season Farmer’s Cookbook’ This is a garden how-to book and a marvelous cookbook! You’d really love having this one in your collection!
Here are the FEATURED posts from last week’s party:

Silvina at Tazas & Cuentos took what might have been a curtain valance and transformed it to a wonderful shelf to display her delightful children’s illustrated plate collection – too creative!
This gorgeous bloom shared to us by Prêt-à-Vivre [Ready to … Waltz is called The Queen of the Night – you can learn who prizes her and more about this amazing flower in the post.
