Home and Garden Thursday
Goodbye January. Hello February! Time seems to just fly! Dearest and I were talking about the perception of time – we get up around 6 am and do our morning rituals and enjoying conversation…before we know it, 9 am is approaching and we both have to scoot! In comparison, it takes about that amount of time to drive to my sibling’s homes – that time seems to drag on and on…how does that work?! February is going to be a marvelous, inspirational month filled with thoughts of Valentines decor, crafts and foods. I just love it!
Here’s what I shared with you since the last party:
Snow day two here in Georgia. As you can tell, the sky was clear and the sun was beginning to melt the snow. I wanted to capture a few more moments of this rare event. I walked over to this historic house that I can see from my kitchen window. It is empty and may be for sale soon…it’s magnificent!
I am so thrilled to join these wonderful bloggers in offering this fantastic giveaway! Spread The Love! Have you had a chance to enter to win $500 to spend on Valentines! I hope you take a moment to enter!
I shared with you a few chores I do in my February garden. This Helleboro is a fantastic Perennial. It begins to bloom in winter and lasts for quite a while. I highly recommend this beautiful blossom.
I joined several other bloggers in sharing Valentine decor and crafts in The Scoop Valentine Tour. I shared this easy craft The Story of Us- a memory book as well as a coffee filter rose heart-shaped wreath. (say that three times fast!)
I shared with you just how much fun it is to make these coffee filter roses and how I made my heart-shaped wreath.
