Home and Garden Thursday
These days seem to be passing by rather quickly! I hope you all are enjoying these first days of spring! I am so glad to have my daughter back from her trip! The day after her return, my eldest daughter went on a trip of her own. Our children surely know how to keep us on our knees praying!
Here’s what I shared with you last week:
I took a few Redbud branches and displayed them along with some of my favorite vintage dishes in a corner in our kitchen
I would like to congratulate Diana Petrillo, Adirondack Girl at Heart, the winner of the Hamilton Beach Durathon Iron!
I am in the process of finishing the paint work to the front of the house, but that didn’t stop me from decorating the front door – I was inspired by the bright green of the burlap ribbon and Jubliant Green acryllic paint – for the letter ‘R’.
I found these beautiful blue vases recently. The Forsythia and lemons are the perfect compliment to their brilliant color.
My daughter, who just returned from her mission trip to Mexico, and I shared a lovely Spring Lunch outdoors – I made this Pink Lemonade Pound Cake in her honor.
The garden is looking wonderful this March. I’m doing some cleaning, but also enjoying all the marvelous blooms.
Tomorrow I will be participating along with several other Bloggers in a Ringing in The Spring Home Tour. I hope you stop by!
