Home and Garden Thursday
This has been a tumultuous week weatherwise. On Monday I accompanied my daughter to work so that I might do several errands and we then could ride home together. While at Chic Fil A we were made to be under a tornado watch. One had been spotted a county away and we were in the direct path. I called everyone. Dearest, my eldest daughter, her husband as well as my daughter and I were all in the direct path. My son was not. It was a tense hour before we knew that the watch/warning was lifted. Today, we are in a deep freeze, for the south. This is so unusual. To make it all the more fun, we’re expected to swing back up to the 70’s Sunday and Monday with more thunderstorms. That’s Georgia weather for you. I know many of you are experiencing much colder temps and even snow! I hope you are safe and warm.
Thank you so much for sharing with Home and Garden Thursday – you are a complete delight!
*note: after this week, I will be changing the Gardening category to Holiday while our dear gardens sleep!
Here are the posts I shared with you since last week’s party:
I found this gorgeous bed spread at an Estate sale. I love how it brings together the soft, vintage look to this bedroom. I also found a framed picture of the lovely young lady was found at another Estate sale of a local woman who passed away at 100. I imagine that this may have been her at a younger age. I was completely charmed by her.
I had the opportunity to review the Fusion Mineral Paint. I used their Inglenook and Casement with the addition of their Gold past to create this whimsical French Provincial look. Love the paint, the paint brush and the wonderful brush cleaner – I’m definitely going to use their products again!
