Home and Garden Thursday
I have been busy as a bee at my house. It is so much fun to decorate for Christmas, don’t you think?! When I was going through the decorations, I enjoyed revisiting with favorite ornaments and decor…special memories go with so many of them. Each year I, perhaps just like you, use the same decor with a few new ones added in. Each year, I use them in different ways. In the dining room, I was inspired by the color scheme and went for a Winter Wonderland look. In the living room, I was inspired by the beautiful red Poinsettia garland for the mantel…this set the whole tone for the room. In the kitchen, rustic, farmhouse is the style with burlap stockings and preserved Boxwood wreaths. Finally, in the green room, off the living room, it’s romantic, Shabby Chic. I think I’ve covered nearly every spectrum. The only thing left is the tree. That’s Dearest and the children’s department. I can’t wait to share! It’s lovely!
I participated with Brooke at Creative Country Mom’s blog along with over 40 other Bloggers in a Christmas in the Country home tour…don’t you love taking a peek?! I do!
